Although the described medical procedures and techniques are authentic for the relevant time, and references are made to some real places and organisations, the books are works of fiction created for entertainment purposes only.
The paramedic characters portrayed in these stories work for the Brisbane City Ambulance Service (B-CAS), which does not exist and is in no way meant to portray, or depict any existing, or former ambulance service, or organisation. The names, characters, or incidents mentioned are also completely fictitious. Any similarity to the name, character, or history of any person is entirely coincidental and unintentional.
